Returning My Heart

When I learn to obey God in love, it does not mean that He has stolen my heart; my heart has merely returned to its legitimate owner.

Really, we will have no rest until we learn to rest in Him.

Meditation:

Deuteronomy 6:5

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."

Joshua 22:5

"But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave to you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to obey His commands, to hold fast to Him and to serve Him with all your heart and all your soul."

Psalm 119:32-35

"I run the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free...Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight."
