It Shall Be Called "GETHSEMANE" - Matthew 26:36-44

"My child, do not feel that I have left you alone to be ridiculed and suspected of selfish motives when you attempt to pour out the perfume of your life on Me. Had I not walked this way before, I would not have allowed you to walk in it.

I understand how you feel when your loved ones mistrust your discernment of My timing and will for your part of My work. Do you now understand why, instead of allowing you to use the name "Emmaus" for the retreat centre. I insisted:

"No! Not Emmaus...It shall be called "GETHSEMANE"...that night, that very night when you trembled in prayer to Me?

Why shall it be called Gethsemane?

It was at Gethsemane that I experienced the worst of rejection, hatred, slander and ridicule by My enemies; it was at Gethsemane that I learnt how it feels to have one's closest friends let me down; it was at Gethsemane that I knew what it meant to be betrayed with a kiss by one in my inner circle.

It was there that My Father waited as I struggled to avoid horrors and terrors of darkness and ugliness of bearing the sins of the world I created with Him.

Yet...enabled by My father's angels and His Holy Spirit, I was strengthened completely submit to His will, not Mine...cancelling every curse and blessing the world in which I rejoice with Him! I want My people to share this joy with Me."

Lead Me To Calvary
King of my life, I crown Thee now, Thine shall the glory be;
Lest I forget Thy thorn-crowned brow, lead me to Calvary.
* Lest I forget Gethsemane, lest I forget Thine agony;
Lest I forget Thy love for me, lead me to Calvary.
May I be willing Lord to bear daily my cross for Thee;
Even Thy cup of grief to share, Thou hast borne all for me
 Lest I forget Gethsemane, lest I forget Thine agony;
Lest I forget Thy love for me, lead me to Calvary.
